Gwynn & Campbell Civil War Carbine. .52 Percussion caliber. Approximately 8,200

manufactured between 1863-1864. Single shot. This is the type two carbine. Several Union

cavalry units were armed with these carbines. The bore is excellent. The barrel has 99% of

the original blue. The lock is excellent and the lettering is crisp and clear. The frame and hammer

have approximately 50 to 60 % case colors. The serial numbers all match. The stock is excellent

with no nicks no cracks ,no abuse. It has a perfect inspectors cartouche on the left side of the buttstock.

The action works perfectly. Overall, this is a very fine Cavalry Carbine in excellent condition.
