Beautiful Kornbrath Engraved R. G. Owen Springfield 1903 Bot Action Rifle (R28700)

.30-06 Caliber with a 24” barrel.Absolutely beautiful gun done by master gunmaker Robert G. Owen. This is an early gun with an unusual marking on the barrel. The earliest guns are marked “Owen Bros., Sauquoit, NY” and this gun is marked “OWEN” Sauquoit N. Y.” in old English script. This gun has been engraved R.J. Kornbrath.  This is deluxe engraved with the sight, barrel, receiver, bolt, safety, floor plate, trigger guard, pistol grip cap and butt plate are engraved. The stock is finely checkered. The trigger guard is even gold inlayed with the owner’s monogramed initials “ERP” This gun is in excellent original condition.
