Beautiful Constable of Philadelphia Dueling Pistol (AH6491)
Made circa 1845-1850. 50 caliber with a 7 ½” barrel. This gun was made by Richard Constable of Philadelphia. He was a gun maker and seller from 1817 -1851. This gun is one of his later guns with the back action lock. Barrel is very fine with most of the original brown. Lock and furniture is nicely engraved. Wood is very good with minor handling wear. Action works perfectly.
