Colt Burgess .44-40 (AL3801)

Colt Burgess .44-40 caliber rifle. Nice sharp gun! Smooth light brown to gray patina on metal. All markings are sharp and clear including rampant Colt on left hand side of the frame. Wood has been lightly refinished and there is a small chip on the top corner on each side of the receiver. Action is nice and sharp and the bore is very good with bright and shiny rifling and a couple spots of light pitting. Very good Burgess rifle!
