Orbea Type 1916 Caliber 10.35mm Revolver (PR55103)
This fine 10.35mm Orbea Type 1916 top break revolver was manufactured by Orbea Hermanos in Spain and imported by F. Tettoni of Brescia, Italy. The demand for handguns was very high during WWI and several Spanish manufacturers filled this need, especially for France and Italy. The top of the barrel is marked REVOLVER MOD 1916 CAL 10.35. The left side of the frame is marked avove the trigger F TETTONI BRESCIA. The right side of the frrame and tops of the grip paneis have the round Orbea Hermanos trade mark logo. The gun retains approx. 97% blue and the trigger, hammer, and latch have strong case colors. The bore is excellent. The "skull cracker" grips are fine with some inscet damage at the bottom of the panels. The action functions correctly. This interesting WWI era gun is in super ondition and is ready for a Spanish, Italian, or WWI collection.
