The 7,65mm (32 ACP) CZ 27 was manufactured from 1927 to 1951. About 450.000 were manufactured for the German military during WWII. This pistol is a pre-WWII CZ 27 that was used by the Czech military prior to WWII. It is slightly diffferent from the WWII German issued pistols in that it is rounded rather than flat on the later guns. The 3.5" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains approx 92% blue overall with light wear areas. The top of the slide is marked CESKA ZBROJOVKA v PRAZE 61427 followed by the Czech lion inspection mark. The left side of the frame has CZ with a vertical arrow intersecting it followed by 61427. This is repeated on the left rear of the slide. The right side of the frame above the grip has a J Czech lion 27. The front grip strap is unit marked 52 D 404. The smooth wrap-around wood grips are excellent with no chips or cracks. The magazine base has the CZ with the arrow and is numbered to another gun. The lanyard loop is present. The action functions correctly. The black leather holster, with a spare CZ 27 magazine, is excellent with tight stitching. It is marked on the interior flap with a boxed A over SN7, the Czech lion followed by 1936 followed by 6412, and with, below that, PUV2 A. This is a great pre-WWII Czech military CZ27 pistol rig.
