Smith & Wesson Triple Lock .44 Special (PR57552)

These "Triple Lock" model Hand Ejectors were made from 1908-1915. The factory letter states this 4" nickel plated model was shipped to Collum & Boren in Dallas, TX on April 24, 1917. The bore is fair with strong rifling and shallow pitting. The nickel has been expertly refinished at some point. The hammer and trigger have some light straw color. Has excellent Pearl Texas steer head grips with ruby eyes. Overall a fine example of a Collum & Boren rig. Comes with factory letter and hand-tooled western style holster.
