U.S. Model 1808 unknown maker contract musket .69 caliber in overall fair condition. Metal has a dark grey patina with surface oxidation. Stock is good with dings and gouges present. Lock has no marking visible, action functions correctly. These muskets were pressed into services during the War of 1812
