Le Mat 2nd Model revolver. Caliber .42 with 9-shot cylinder and .63 caliber shot barrel. Serial # 1748. Loading lever assembly is a faithful replacement. Actions works perfectly. Grips and bore are very good. Grips are smooth wood, uncheckered and appear original to the gun. These Le Mats were ordered by the Confederacy and it is known that Jefferson Davis and Colonel John Mosby, The Gray Ghost carried Le Mats.
