.69 caliber 34.25" barrel Whitney Contract Model 1861 Navy rifle in overall good condition, metal is a light grey patina with scattered surface oxidation noted. Lock plate is dated 1862, barrel is marked 1863. Stock has been lightly sanded some time ago with dings and nicks noted. Action functions correctly, ram-rod is missing.
