Serial number 48756 .50-70 caliber 32.5" round barrel U.S. Springfield Model 1868 Trapdoor rifle in excellent condition. Barrel is in the white, receiver and breech block are in the black. Breech is dated 1870, lock is dated 1864 with handsome case coloring visible. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted. Stock shows minor handling and storage wear. Cartouches are present.
