Turkish (Ottoman Empire) flintlock pistol. Very good quality and probably made in Italy for the Turkish market. Star and Quarter moon inlay behind the breech tang. Buttcap also displays a quarter moon design. Barrel length is 13 ½ to a silver band. Overall length 21’ ½”. Beautiful, graceful form and quality workmanship. Many better quality Middle East guns were made in Spain and Italy for export to the Middle East market. Very good condition.
