Revolutionary War 1766 U.S. Surcharged Charleville flintlock musket .69 (AL8031)
NSN, .69 caliber, 44.5" barrel circa 1777. Overall very good condition 1766 Charleville musket, lock plate is surcharged with "US" at the rear of the hammer. Foward of the hammer has "D" over Charleville. Metals is a smooth brown patina with surface oxidation visible. Wood is good with scratches, dings noted. Action functions correctly. This is a great Revolutionary War Charleville musket !
