Colonial American Club-Butt flintlock Musket .81 caliber (AL8125)

NSN, circa 18th Century , 81 caliber, 39.5" round British proofed barrel. This New England style Club Butt musket is made mostly of British military origin parts. Barrel is shows an even brown oxidized patina. Lock plate is marked with "CROWN/GR". Lock plate looks to have been replaced as it is an Indian Pattern Type 1 with a type 2 cock. Stock is good with some gouges, one beneath the lock plate and several others along the left side where it meets the barrel. Ram rod has a pronounced 3" flare at the front, it noted that the front and middle pipe are of the same size and are of British origin. Action holds at half and full cock, bore is good with pitting noted along the sides.
