Serial No.36140, made in 1887, .45-70, 22" round proofed barrel. Barrel and other iron parts are a dark grey patina with surface oxidation visible throughout. Bore has pitting/frosting noted in the lands and grooves. Stock has expected wear from service use, but is in overall good condition. Action functions correctly.
