U.S. Model 1816 Flintlock Musket by Waters .69 caliber (AL9801)

NSN, made in 1836, .69 caliber, 42" round smoothbore barrel. Musket has been reconverted back to its original flintlock configuration. Lock plate is marked "US/A Waters" forward of hammer. Rear of hammer is stamped "Millbury/1836". Heavy oxidation is visible at the breech, weld mark is noted where the cone was removed. Stock has nicks and dings visible. Top Jaw is broken from the post of cock. Action does hold at half and full cock.
