U.S Springfield Model 1896 Converted Carbine .30-40 Krag (AL9813) Consignment

SN:100762. Made in 1896, 30-40 Krag with a 22" Round barrel. Bore is excellent, bright with strong rifling. U.S. military rifle that's been cut down into a carbine model. Barrel has grey patina with traces of factory blue. Receiver has a mottled grey patina with scattered oxidation and discoloration visible. Stock is very good with expected nicks, dings and has 1.5" crack by front barrel band spring. Action is smooth and functions properly. Consignment.
