Unique Trabzon Ottoman Garniture of Pistols, Sword, Belt and Knives (AH8482)
Made circa 1850. Guns are in 68 caliber with 9 ½” barrels. Absolutely beautiful pair with silver over lay decorated barrels. Stocks are metal adorned with polish coral and turquoise. Both guns are en suite. Along with the guns comes a Trousse of three knives. The scabbard is decorated similar to the pistol barrels with silver overlay and turquoise and polished coral adornment. The sword comes with a hanger. It is a shamshir style blade. The blade itself has some pitting. The scabbard and hilt are decorated like the other items with silver overlay, polished coral and turquoise. Very fine Garniture!
