U.S. Model 1840 "WristBreaker" by C&J (SW1847)

Civil War era model 1840 "WristBreaker sword by Clemen & Jung (Germany). Blade is 35" in length with a 25.5"fuller, Blade has been cleaned at some point with scattered oxidation noted. Ricasso is marked "C&J" inside box. Knuckle bow, branches and back strap are a dark patina with wear visible. Wire wrap is missing, and leather is flaking on the grip. Scabbard is good with majority of original black paint present.
