Colt Model 1849 Pocket .31 caliber (AC1022) CONSIGNMENT

Serial No. 146596, made in 1858, .31 caliber, 6" octagonal barrel. Serial numbers are matching, finish is a dark grey patina with surface oxidation and pitting visible. Original varnish is flaking, mostly on the right side with a chip at the toe. Action does not function hammer will go to full cock, cylinder will not rotate. Bore has pitting in the grooves, rifling remains strong. consignment
