Koishikawa Type 38 Rifle 6.5 Japanese (R39086) ATX

SN: 83258. Early Type 38 service rifle made by Koishikawa around the 1920s. Good to very good condition with most of blue left on barrel and receiver. Muzzle finish worn by a bayonet lug. Patches of surface rust present. Mum is mostly ground off. Bore is dark in the grooves but rifling is still good. Buttplate and bolt body have been cleaned of surface rust and extractor has been cleaned of scale. Wood is in great condition with typical handling marks and a chip in the bottom right portion of the buttstock. Action functions correctly including safety.
