Civil War Era Spencer repeating Carbine .52 caliber (AL9918) CONSIGNMENT

Serial No. 56299, circa 1863-1865, .52 caliber, 22" round barrel. Barrel and receiver are a dark brown/ grey patina with surface oxidation visible. Bore is dark with heavy pitting noted, 6 groove rifling is faint but present. Stock has expected nicks, dings, and scratches from handling and usage wear.
