Japanese Type 99 Short Rifle 7.7mm (R41590)Consignment

SN: 52543. Made in 1940 with a 26-inch chrome-lined barrel chambered for the 7.7x58mm cartridge. This is a 30th series Toyo Kogyo Type 99 Short Rifle with anti-aircraft rear sight assembly & Chrysanthemum intact. The wood presents dings & dents consistent with vigorous military service, but it is otherwise in good shape. Original finish across all metallic parts is strong. Comes with a cleaning rod & original Japanese World War II-era muzzle cover.
