Inland M1 Carbine with sling & bayonet .30 Carbine (R41605) Consignment

SN: 5287258. Made in 1944 by the Inland Division of General Motors with a 17.75-inch barrel that is chambered for the .30 Carbine cartridge. Stamped adjustable rear sight assembly, flip safety, flat bolt, Type C bayonet lug barrel band & a February 1944 dated Inland barrel with a bright bore. Type C tapered, shallow sight groove, 2-rivet handguard, low wood, oval cut stock marked "IO" in the oiler cut & "RIA FK" on the left side below the rear sight assembly. This carbine has been through an arsenal level rebuild, so the finish on the metallic parts is not the original factory finish from World War II, nevertheless the overall finish is in excellent condition. The wood is in very good condition with the type of dings & dents that are a normal part of military service. Comes with USGI C-clip web sling & a commercial M4 type bayonet made in Japan by Kiffe & a USGI M8A1 scabbard made by the Viz Manufacturing Company. Consignment
