Savage Model 99 Rifle .30-30 (R41768) Consignment

SN: 265959. Made in Utica, New York in 1924 with a 20-inch barrel chambered for the .30-30 rifle cartridge. Overall excellent condition with a bright bore that has strong rifling & a wood stock that has surprisingly few dings, dents & scratches. The handguard matches the stock in both color & condition, & the metal parts still carry their original factory finish although there are some spots of oxidation on the barrel, receiver & butt plate. The initials "G.W.D." are stamped on the left side of the trigger guard just below the trigger. (CONSIGNMENT)
