Model 1840 Wristbreaker cavalry sword that has been cut down to a 23.25" blade with a slight curve, 22.5" fuller. Ricasso is marked "TIFFANY & Co./NEW YORK" Blade is a grey patina with mottled discoloration visible. Guard a spurious "CSA" marking. Wire has been removed from the leather handle.
