Inscribed U.S.M.C. Mameluke Officer sword (SW1881) CONSIGNMENT

U.S.M.C Mameluke Officer sword inscribed to "J.A. Deager". Blade is 30" with floral etching covers half the blade, one side is marked "United States Marines"-J.A.Deager". Opposite side is marked "United States Marines" Ivory grips are secured with star rivets. Scabbard has light pin-prick surface oxidation noted. Further research would be need on J.A.Deager.
