U.S. Model 1832 Foot Artillery Sword by Ames (SW1879) CONSIGNMENT

U.S. Model 1833 Short Sword by Ames, blade is 18.75" with two side by side fullers measuring 3.5". Single fuller measures 10.25", blade has been cleaned some time ago and is a dull grey patina. Ricasso is marked "U.S./JCS/1853" opposite side has "AMES MFG CO./CHICOPEE/MASS." Stamped Brass heal and cross guard are good with an antique patina. Pommel has Eagle with shield and arrows.
