U.S. Model 1836 Flintlock pistol by A. Waters .54 caliber (AH8603)

NSN, made in 1839, .54 caliber, 8.5" round smoothbore barrel. Metal is in the bright with freckled pin-prick oxidation noted throughout. Barrel is marked "US/JGB/P" and lock is marked " Eagle/A. Waters/Millbury. MS/1839". Stock is good with cartouches present, a crack is located by the side plate just behind the forward screw going up the edge. Action holds at half and full cock.
