WWII Inland M1 Carbine Rifle .30 Carbine (R41589) Consignment

SN: 278056. Made in 1943 by Inland Division of General Motors with an 18-inch March 1943 dated Inland barrel. Flat bolt, "S-" marked flip rear sight assembly, Type 1 barrel band, Type B Recoil Plate, Type B tapered deep sight groove 2-rivet handguard, Type B high wood oval cut stock with ordnance escutcheon cartouche & "IO" in the oiler cut, Type B "dogleg" hammer & a push button safety. Comes with an unmarked 15-round detachable box magazine, a World War II "C-tip" web sling in Olive Drab shade 3 & a World War II-era oiler. This is an "as built" World War II M1 Carbine. Consignment.
