Colt SAA "Frontier Six Shooter" Revolver .44-40 (C19689) ATX

SN: 183012. 1st Generation Single Action Army made by Colt in 1899. 4.75" barrel with .44-40 cylinder. Good condition with about 40% of blue remaining on barrel, cylinder, trigger guard and backstrap. Frame is mostly brown patina, and backstrap has a dark patch of cleaned rust behind the serial. Bore is excellent with light frosting just past the forcing cone and strong rifling. Action times and functions correctly with good lockup. Grips and grip screw a later replacement. Frame, trigger guard and backstrap have matching serials.
