French Model 1822 Percussion Military pistol .72 caliber (AH8683) CONSIGNMENT

Serial No. 460, circa 1820's-1830's, .72 caliber, 7.75" round barrel. Metal has a dark brown/grey patina with surface oxidation noted. Serial no. is visible left side barrel flat, tang is marked "MLE 1822". Lock plates marking is unreadable. Wood has expected handling and usage wear. A crack is visible at the bass butt cap screw and goes around to the trigger guard. Action holds at half and full cock. Consignment
