U.S. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor rifle .45-70 (AL10012) CONSIGNMENT

Serial No. 387362, made in 1887, .45-70, .32.75" round proofed barrel. Barrels original blue has thinned to a dark patina with surface oxidation visible throughout. Bore is good with minor areas of frosting and pitting noted in the grooves, rifling remains strong. Stock has handling wear noted with wood loss noted forward of the front barrel band.
