Colt Single Action Army Bisley Model 44 Russian (C19531)

Serial number 198095. Made in 1900. 44 Russian caliber with a 7 ½” barrel. This gun has an even artificial brown patina on the barrel. The frame and cylinder have a gray patina. This gun is in the rare 44 Russian caliber. Only 154 guns were chambered in 44 Russian making it one of the rarest calibers in the Colt Single Action Army Series. The barrel looks like it was repaired and it was probably lengthened. This gun comes with a factory letter where it confirms the configuration and it was shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co in Chicago, Il in a shipment of two.
