USGI Springfield M1 Garand rifle .30-06 (R42029) CONSIGNMENT

SN: 5824705. Made in 1955 with a March 1955-dated 24-inch barrel made by Springfield & chambered for the .30-06 cartridge. Bore is bright and shiny with strong visible rifling. USGI stock is in very good condition with grenade launching rear sight base attached to the left side. There is a Defense Acceptance Stamp cartouche on the left side of the stock wrist & the "high hump" gas cylinder lock screw is correct for this SN range. Action functions correctly. Consignment
