WWI German Gewehr 98 Mauser Oberndorf 8mm (R42031)

Serial No. 1378M, made in 1915, 8mm, 29" round barrel. Bore shows light frosting in the grooves with strong rifling, barrel and receiver have turned to a dark grey patina. Imperial German acceptance markings are sharp and crips. Receiver is marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER A-G/OBERNDORF A/II/1915". Serial numbers are matching except for the barrel band and cleaning rod. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
