Possible Italian style flintlock pistol .68 caliber (AH8655) CONSIGNMENT

NSN, circa early 1700'S, .68 caliber, 13" round barrel. Barrel and lock plate are a light grey patina, metal was polished at some point leaving the engraving soft and markings illegible. Stock is engraved around the barrel tang and breech, wood loss is visible right side around the engraved brass butt cap. Checkering is smooth from handling and usage wear.
