Springfield M1 Garand rifle .30-06 (R42045) Consignment

SN: 2956264. Made in 1944 with a 24-inch barrel chambered for the .30-06 cartridge. Rifle is equipped with a radius cut SA operating rod & an October 1954-dated Springfield barrel that has UK proof marks on it just behind the front sight. Overall condition is good with a bore that has strong visible rifling & a dark Parkerized phosphate across the metal parts that was not applied at the factory in 1944. The stock has been sanded & there is a repair in the wrist as well as another repair on the forward handguard. Comes with a web sling. Consignment
