SN: 0C48411. Bolt-action rifle made in 1944 by Savage for Lend-Lease purposes with Britain. Standard 25" barrel chambered for .303 British. Great condition with fewer handling marks than are usually seen on these surplus rifles. Bore is great with light frosting and strong rifling. Sling is correct for the rifle. Flaming bomb stamps on bolt handle and receiver, as well as "U.S. PROPERTY" mark. Zamak alloy buttplate is also correct for late war production. Bolt matches receiver. Action functions correctly.
