Winchester 1873 1st Model Rifle (AW1099) CONSIGNMENT
Serial 12966. Made im 1876. 44-40 caliber with a 24” barrel. Metal has an even brown patina. Dust Cover is missing. This gun is a first model. All of these were in 44-40, so there is no caliber marking. Action functions, but is slightly sticky. Butt stock is a neat, period replacement.
