British No.5 MkI Jungle carbine .303 British (R42660) CONSIGNMENT

Serial No. U3656, made in 1946 at the Royal Ordnance Factory manufacturing plant in Fazakerley, Liverpool. Bore is bright with scattered areas of frosting visible in the grooves, rifling remains strong. 92% finish remains, upper hand guard, barrel band have been removed. Serial numbers are matching, magazine is unmarked. Stock is very good with light wear noted, cartouches are present just rear of the trigger guard. Action is smooth and functions correctly. consignment
