Serial No. 1779814, circa November 1942, .30 carbine, 18" round barrel marked "UNDERWOOD/3-43/Flaming Bomb" Front sight is marked with "N" with firing proof visible,. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted. Type B hand guard with two rivets is marked "RSG" on the underside. Type A band is unmarked and wide swivel is marked "UP". Receiver is marked "IRWIN PEDERSEN/1779814", Rear sight is "RP" marked on the right side and left side is marked "S". Highwood "I" cut stock are in very good plus condition, "S'G'" and Ordnance escutcheon are sharp. Sling well is marked "RSG", clip release is marked "IP-W".
