Inland Division Model 1942 M1 Carbine .30 carbine (R42682) CONSIGNMENT

Serial No. 844073, circa late 1942, .30 carbine, 18" round barrel marked "I.B.M. CORP/11-43/Flaming bomb". Type Two front sight is unmarked, firing proof is visible. Bore is bright and shiny with handsome rifling visible. Type B handguard is marked "OI" on the inside, Type A front band is marked "UI". Receiver is marked "INLAND DIV/844073" Rear sight is marked with "S" on the left side, right side is blank. Stock is a later Type C low wood, oval oiler cut out. Ordnance Escutcheon is sharp, sling cut out is marked "OI". Pistol grip has the number "65" painted on. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Comes with oiler, sling and box. Consignment
