Standard Products Model of 1944 M1 Carbine .30 carbine with post war alterations(R42683) CONSIGNMENT

Serial No. 2192342, circa early 1944, .30 carbine, 18" round barrel marked " UNDERWOOD/2-44/Flaming Bomb", bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling noted. Type C front band is marked "SI". Type C handguard is unmarked, receiver is marked "STD.PRO", recoil plate is stamped "Standard/Products" Stamped Type C rear sight is marked "I.R.CO." on the right side, left side is unmarked. Low cut stock as expected nicks, dings and scratches visible. Right side has a faint "ORDNANCE ESCUTCHEON" Left side has a rack number as well as the pistol grip. Unable to read markings in sling cut out. Action is smooth and functions correctly. Consignment
