Spanish Model 1839 Flintlock Pistol. An exact copy of the French An13 except for the side plate-belt hook. Barrel: 7.7” long. Caliber: 17.5mm, unmarked. Lock: stamped with a crown over an O 1840 and J. A. Asti. The side plate is stamped O, the back strap C, and the trigger guard P within a circle.
