Spanish 1827 Order Type Flintlock Cavalry Pistol. Circa 1740. Barrel: 13.8” long. Caliber: 17.5”, brass front sight. Lock: iron no-bridle pan, stamped R under a crown and maker’s name GVLI with a rectangle. Anchor on escutcheon is probably a later addition.
