U.S. Springfield Model 1873 (AL3707)
U.S. Springfield Model 1873 .45-70 caliber Trapdoor rifle. Serial appears to be 1150 which would make this a first year production gun. We cannot be sure because this frame has been refinished and numbers could have been lost in the process. The receiver appears to be a later gun. The barrel has original smooth brown patina. Bore is excellent.
