Scarce U.S. Springfield Model 1840 .69 caliber musket by Nippes. Hard to find model converted to percussion in an H&P style. Metal has gray patina with some staining and minor spots of pitting. Traces of cartouches are visible. Ramrod is a replacement. Good looking scarce musket.
