German Flintlock Pistol by Johan Andreas Kuchenreuter (AH3721)
German Flintlock Pistol by Johan Andreas Kuchenreuter. Manufactured in Regensburg. Barrel length is 12” and overall length is 18½”. Barrel is marked in silver and accented with silver flourishes. Lock is engraved with floral motif on the tail, and a panoply of arms in front of the cock. All the furniture is chiseled and has a fine patina. Grips has a fitting for a shoulder stock. Condition is very fine. Johan Andreas Kuchenreuter is considered to be one of the best German gunsmiths of the period!
