Mass Arms Co. Wesson and Leavitt Dragoon Revolver. .40 Caliber percussion. Manufactured 1850 to 1851. Approximately 800 made. Bore is bright and excellent. Action works perfectly. All markings are clear and legible. Gun has a gray and light brown patina. Grips are excellent with 98% original varnish. This is a very substantially built revolver. This revolver is in very good overall condition and was, no doubt, well cared for by the previous owners. No pits, no abuse. A real handful of a civil war period revolver! Approximately 770 made!
